Thermotherapy

Thermotherapy refers to use of cooling and heating applications top the injured area. 

Cryotherapy (cooling techniques) is used on muscles to reduce inflammation, swelling, control muscle spasms, and provide pain relief, form post-surgical conditions and musculoskeletal injuries, by the use of ice packs, cold compression units (game ready) and ice massage. 

Heat therapy (hot packs and aquatherapy) is applied before stretching and flexibility exercises to increase circulation, enhance healing, reduce stiffness in joints, improve flexibility, relieve pain and reduce muscle spasms.
